With partisan politics putting Washington, D.C., in gridlock, Senator Whitehouse is hoping he can still get his so-called “Buffett Rule” bill passed. The law – officially titled the “Paying a Fair Share Act” – would require those making more than $2 million a year to pay at least 30 percent in income taxes.
