Attention: Your humble blogger is now available on Facebook

I’m a big fan of Twitter, but polls show only 16% of Americans journey to the land of tweets, whereas fully 66% use good old Facebook. As somebody who remembers when Facebook was a fad ricocheting through my college dorm in 2004, that’s still hard to believe – but 1 billion users can’t be wrong, huh?

All that is just to say I’ve put together my own page over at facebook.com/TedNesi1. For those who follow me on Twitter, it will probably be pretty similar, at least until I figure out specific uses for the Facebook page. For those who don’t care about Twitter or Facebook, no worries – the blog is still my main squeeze (though you’re missing lots of good links to other folks’ fine work if you’re skipping Twitter).

You may say: “Nesi, how many darn social media websites do you need to be on anyway?” Believe you me, I wish it all were simpler! But in this modern era I think we news folks need to go where our readers and viewers are, and if that means Facebook, so be it.

So, pathetic as it sounds, please like me!
