Christopher Young and Kara Russo finally set a wedding date

It’s official. Gene Emery reports perennial candidates Chris Young and Kara Russo will tie the knot on Sept. 8, three days before they both appear on the congressional primary ballot.

Loyal WPRI 12 viewers, of course, were the first to know they would someday tie the knot. Who can forgot when Young proposed live during our August 2010 Providence mayoral debate? Watch (skip to 2:25):
