Being a Ride Captain for the Rhode Island Patriot Guard Riders I have been involved with many politicians over the past 3 years. Our Lt. Gov. was the ONLY politician to stand in line during a cold, rainy february night for PFC Kyle Coutu. All other politicians went through the back door, in and out to pay their respects all the while Mrs. Roberts stood in the elements with the friends and citizens for about 45 minutes to get their chance. It was at that moment I had gained a special respect for her that will be hard to remove.
